PROJECT ACTIVITIES - WORKSHOPS

MARCH 2010
First and second “Transfer of know how on professional counselling for young people”
workshops ended.

Between 22nd and 26th of March workshops on professional counseling for young people and know-how transfer between Norway, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland took place in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów near Lublin.

Career advisors, psychologists, educators and youth workers from Ukraine, Belarus and Poland – almost 50 people took part in it.

Workshops started with integration session using various methods and practices. Apart from that main subjects during working sessions were: self-knowledge in the context of profession choice – recognition of personal features, character, temperament, interests – self-rating tools, self – analysis, focus on personal advantages, weak points elimination, systems using to combine personal features with professional profiles, labour market tendencies, professions of the future, job seeking methods analysis.

Workshops were part of the “Transfer of know-how on professional counseling for young people” project co-organized by European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation.

Radio programme from the workshops will be broadcasted on Radio Centrum and place on our website.

On 23rd March before leaving farewell camp fire took place. Next workshops will be held in May.
