The situation of people under 35 years of age on the Ukrainian labour market

According to Deputy in Chmielnickie Regional Labour Centre  A. Pushkar about 42% of citizens registered as unemployed are young people under 35 years. During the reporting period January-May the number of people on social security was 16 581.
The number of young people participating in training, changing their profession was estimated to be1894 – it was by 2,1% less than in January-May last year, which constituted 44,2% of all  people expected to take part in it.
In public works was engaged 1439 young people (24,7% of all people employed in public companies), which is by 13,8% more than in the same period last year.
