TRANSFER OF KNOW-HOW ON PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE Project “Transfer of know-how on professional counseling for young people” is an international project that is being implemented between 01.01.2010 and 31.03.2011 basing on agreement with Implementing Authority for European Programmes. Project is being implemented in partnership. Project’s leader: European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation Project’s partners: Ochotnicze Hufce Pracy from Lublin, Poland, Papirbredden Karriersenter from Drammen, Norway, Humanitarian Bridge from Brest, Belarus , Western Ukraine Centre of Resources (ZURC) from Lviv, Ukraine, Development Foundation of Lesa Ukrainka University from Luck, Ukraine Conception of the project derives from needs reported by carrier advisors from Poland, Belarus and Ukraine. Especially in Belarus and Ukraine professional counseling system is under construction. Apart from sharing own experiences and discussing their needs participants benefit from an experience of trainers from Norway. It is essential because of well organized professional counseling system and wide range of methods and practical solutions for youth in Norway. Project aims at:
Activities under the project:
Participants: Project is addressed to career advisors, psychologists, pedagogues and youth workers from Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. Results of the project will be methodological books containing methods and tools used in partner countries and brochure with the most interesting projects carried out by partners that aim at promotion of professional counseling good practices. Internet platform will be created in 4 languages: Polish, English, Belarusian and Ukrainian. It will contain a base of methods, multimedia tools, internal mailbox and tool for monitoring and management of the project thanks to which permanent and efficient experience sharing in professional counseling will be possible.
